Premkumar Alagarsamy is Senior Director of Product Management for Visa Acceptance Solutions focused on innovating and integrating the global service orchestration platform strategy and solutions for merchants, acquirers, and tech partners by leveraging advance data science AI/ML capabilities for better authorization rates, lower fraud and operating cost optimization. Prior to joining Visa in 2017, Prem was with PayPal for twelve years where he led global core payments transaction optimization, acquirer partnership, next generation payment platform and services. He is passionate about mentoring youth in education to help convert book learning to reality. Prem has a strong belief in learning and sharing from each other’s experiences and presents payment sessions for youth organizations. Prem holds a Master’s degree in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) in Dhanbad, India.
