What the Forrester Wave™: Merchant Payment Providers, Q1 2024 report explains
Every other year, Forrester publishes its Forrester Wave™: Merchant Payment Providers report that identifies top vendors in the industry that can help merchants better structure their business’ and payments’ strategies to fit their specific needs, including retail, grocery, and everything in between. In this 2024 report, Forrester used a 24-criterion evaluation of the top 13 merchant payment providers, identifying the most significant vendors and scoring them from “Challengers” up to “Leaders”. Forrester evaluated current offerings such as authentication, omnichannel payments, fraud and risk, and integrations, to name a few, as well as the vendors’ strategies (i.e., vision, innovation, partner ecosystem, etc.) and market presence. Here is what they found.
What factors merchants should consider
